Space and rugby, a “large-scale” exhibition
Since September 8th, the Cité de l’espace and Stade Toulousain have hosted a common exhibition on space and rugby that can be visited at the Cité de l’espace through December, 2023 and at the Stade Ernest Wallon through December, 2024. Featuring large-scale immersive visuals at the core of their respective themes, it embodies two strong identities of la Ville rose: space and rugby. Three values common to both rugby players and astronauts are the focus of the exhibition: the relationship to the body, the mind and team spirit. This initiative aims to allow everyone to discover their personal aspirations as well as the paths to achieve their dreams, whatever they may be. Just like the rugby players and astronauts who excel in their respective fields, this exhibition has been designed to encourage viewers to think about how to cultivate and achieve their ambiations. Presented in honour of the 2023 Rugby World Cup, the exhibition was designed by the Cité de l’espace in collaboration with le Stade Toulousain, The European Space Agency (ESA), the CNES and with support from MGEN, Banque Populaire Occitane, Comat, Kinéis and Hemeria.
