November marked the kick-off of the major annual educational projects organized by the Cité de l’espace and L’Envol des Pionniers including the Children’s Scientific Congress, the Martian Robot Challenge (both of which have earned the ESERO accreditation) and In the footsteps of Saint Exupéry.

Throughout the month, training courses are available to teachers who will work with their classes all year long on the different projects with special days dedicated to presenting projects both live and remotely at the end of the school year on both sites.

New in 2025: mediators from the Guyaspace Expérience – the Kourou space museum for which the CNES has entrusted the Semeccel with reception and mediation, will host two events in Guyana, linked to the Cité de l’espace projects. In addition, Lithuanian classes will take part in the Children’s Scientific Congress as part of the event, la Saison de la Lituanie, organized by the French Institute and with support from the Lithuanian Museum of Ethnocosmology.

Participation 2025 :
•Martian Robot Challenge: 8 classes in the Occitanie region and 8 classes at the national level, including one in Martinique for the 3rd year and 4 classes in Guyana.
•The Children’s Scientific Congress: 8 CM2-6e pairs, including 7 from Occitanie and 1 from Saint-Malo, along with 3 classes from Guyana.
